Anilao II

The thing about Anilao is that it’s not the beach-y type of beach with the white sand and seashells. It’s more of the place to go out snorkeling and diving. After eating, we headed to the boat. Some decided to dive while the rest and I went snorkeling. Wasn’t really able to take much pictures though.

After spending around 4 hours in the waters, we packed up our stuff on the boat. BUT THEN it started to rain real hard. At first we decided to wait it off but after 20 excruciating and freezing minutes we just decided to brave the rain. Thank God none of us got sick hehe.

Finally, had the most shallow conversations with the kiddos until 1AM. Highlight of the trip.

Western Premier

Spent the afternoon with my relatives who visited from Hawaii. Felt so good to be out of Taft area and be with the family. Went to Best Western Premier Hotel for the afternoon for a bite. My first time to step into that place (considering I’m at Fort every weekend).

The interiors are great. They have a really modern and vibrant theme. To the customers’ convenience, the hotel is walking distance High Street, Market Market, St. Lukes Hospital, and a number of restaurants.
However, there are a lot of kinks to this new hotel. Though there are 4 service elevators, it took me 20 minutes to go down to the lobby from our room and back. Another thing I noticed was that there were mattresses and pillows lined up around the halls of the hotel… I’m not sure if they were cleaning them or what, but it seemed like no one attended to it.

I have yet to revisit the place. It would be such a waste if they didn’t improve a little on those kinks because the interior, service, and food were already gratifying.

Another Day

Went shopping with the chicas of Block 22. Forever and ever 21 will be our first stop. Bon Chon and Red Mango afterwards. Food tastes 200x better when you’re hungry. Sorry for the interesting title hahaha! Need me some creative juice.
